"Test Methods for Evaluation of Fire-Resistant Lubricants"

Abstract:

The presentation will review historical and more recent methods for the comparative evaluation of fire-resistant lubricants. Fire-resistant lubricants represent a small, but very important segment in the industrial fluids market. Some methods describe ease of ignition while other methods evaluate flame spread after ignition.

Biography:

Paul Hartsuch is Regional Manager of ICL Industrial Products and has been employed for over 40 years in petroleum additive and fire-resistant fluid applications. Paul has been a member of STLE and the Chicago Section for over 30 years and is a Certified Lubrication Specialist. He earned a BS from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
