Lubrication Fundamentals with STLE Certification Exams
The Chicago Section, STLE is offering a seminar designed for professionals who have responsibility for lubricant selection, evaluation, safety, and equipment reliability. Participants will be given the tools to select lubricants based upon performance, assess equipment condition, and apply root cause solutions to common lubrication issues. People involved with development, sales and service of lubricants will benefit from this program. The course will address many of the topics needed for CLS certification.
Industry leaders will present topics including:
Lubrication Basics, Gear & Gear Lubrication, Bearings & Bearing Lubrication, Greases, Transportation Lubricants, Oil Analysis & Condition Monitoring, Filtration & Contamination Control, Seals & Gaskets, Solvents & Cleaners, Bio-based Oils, Metalworking Fluids, Fluid Power & Hydraulics, and Health & Safety
The fees for this two day course are $295 for STLE members and $375 for non-members. The fee includes lunches and continental breakfasts. The optional CLS, OMA and CMFS examinations will be offered Friday, March 18th for those looking to obtain these certifications.
Attendees are invited to also register for the STLE Chicago Section monthly meeting, immediately following the program on Wednesday, for networking, dinner and a technical presentation. Lodging is available at the Argonne Guest House (800) 632-8990, or off-site in Willowbrook and Burr Ridge, IL.
